Thanks for participating--Herein find directions and suggestions
Call Rick Clifford with questions, to volunteer to be St Patrick-- or on Parade Day if you get lost:  (303) 465-4196. He's the Man!
Our Unit will consist of two vehicles (or more up to five) if someone else would like to drive a Prius or other energy efficient vehicle guaranteed Liability insured.  Call Rick if you plan to do so because we are limited to 5 vehicles.  Print this out to bring if you are driving in the Parade since you will have to have some ID I am sure to get in the 33rd St entrance.
  • Some folks will carry Green Party Banner and Bob Kinsey for US Senate banner in front of the vehicles.
  • Folk Music of Protest variety supposedly showing  Irish influence to American Music of all kinds (in keeping with the Parade theme) will play from a boom Box.  Definitely :The Times they are a-changing by Dylan (Yes I know he is Jewish background but hey he likes the Irish too)
  • There will be  a little street theatre subunit that portrays St. Patrick the Green expelling the snakes which will be the Corporate Parties.
  •   Snakes will be there but no one has volunteered to dress up as St. Patrick.
  • Following the vehicles there will be as many people as possible with issue signs that are part of our Green Party Platform.  Single Payer, Bring the Troops Home Now, Jobs with Justice, Build a Peoples Party.   No such thing as "Clean" Coal.  Nuclear Power is not cost effective and dangerous.  ReDo the 9/11 Commission.  Corporations are NOT Persons.  Jail the Bankers Bail the People with Green Jobs Now!  People and Planet Not Profits First. Instant Runoff Voting.  Public Campaign Finance. Iraq VEts vs. War, Veterans for Peace Vietnam Vets against the War, Nuclear Abolition. Register Green Vote Green.  420 should not be a crime.  Medical Marijuana is a good idea!  release none violent offenders to work release. Support Higher Education not more Prisons.   End the War on Drugs.  You can't fight a War against Terror.  Defend the Rule of Law.  Defend the Constitution.   Defend International Law.  Ban Landmines.  Ban International arms sales and transfers.  Free Palestine. No Torture. or Just REAL CHANGE
If you wonder if your idea for a sign is not a Green Party Platform or a Bob Kinsey Platform issue check with me on email.
  • The More The Merrier. We are allowed to hand out literature.  I will have 4000 campaign bookmarks and if I can get them done business cards as well.  If you can make a decorative contribution jar bring it and seek out the same from viewers without hassling them.   Be funny.  call it campaign finance reform jar and say nor more than $100 accepted.   Our Staging time is 10 am and I plan to have the Jetta there by then.  I suspect if you get to 27th and Market (See below) by 10:30 you will be OK. There is Division One and the Honorary Division Units in front of us.   That is a judgment call.    WEAR GREEN and  we will also  have several Green Party shirts and hats if you want to buy them to help support the Party.  If you ride a bike put Green streamers through your spokes tight enough not to get ripped out.
Our "Entry" is Division Two
Our Unit Number is 2-68-A
Our Staging Area Street Address is 268-A DUBLIN STREET (this is a Parade Organizer Street designation created for the day)
Our Assembly Time Is 10:AM
If you want to check the website for maps go to www.denverstpatricksdayparade.com
What does this mean?
Where do we Start
If you are driving you may park at the Coors Field Parking Lot A-- entering 23rd and Wazee. Then you will have to walk north of Broadway to the Coors Field Parking Lots C and D  to find Dublin Street and our 268-A staging area.
Or if you prefer to park on the street closer to 27th and Blake, Rick Clifford will meet you at 27th and Walnut Street (Walnut is a continuation of Market) and then you will just join our Unit as we exit the Staging Area on to 27th and Blake.
If you are driving in the Parade i.e.,  Bob Kinsey Jetta and Fran Shure Prius, enter at 33rd and Blake and get to staging area.
Where do we GO?
The Parade will do a loop from 27th and Blake to 17th and Blake--two blocks NW on 17th and then back to 23rd and WeWata to the Coors Field Parking Lot.  If you get tired hitch a ride in one of the cars.
